Questions for Reflection:
- When our hope is in the Lord, what is the result according to Proverbs 13:12? Ponder what (true) life, satisfaction, and fulfillment looks like in everyday life in this broken world.
- How does our preconceptions shape our experience and abundant life? Ask the Lord to filter your thoughts and purify your perceptions. Surrender your mind completely to Christ and ask Him to reveal any error. Write down your thoughts.
- Prudence avoids the snares of death. (Prov. 13:14) When we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, we are able to perceive danger before it manifests (this is insight!). Ask the Lord to increase your sensitivity to His Spirit in everyday life.
- Ponder the Lords’s discipline in your life. It may be that illness, difficulty, or boundary is actually protecting you from greater evil! (Prov. 13:18) Let the Lord reveal this to you personally.
